My name is Roman Demchuk. I was born in 1990 in Ukraine, Volunska region city Roshzhezshe. I was born in a christian family. In 2007 my family moved to Sacramento, California. I was baptized in 2009 and I became a member of a church in this city. After Baptism God put it on my heart to go to Slavic Missionary Bible School in Florida, and with Gods will I took that step. January 1th, 2010 I came to this school where I am currently at, studying and growing daily in the knowledge of Jesus. After SMBS I am planning to go to Ukraine for a missions trip. I will help people in their needs and preach the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Update #2

Crazy stuff! Today we bought even more stuff for our village. I honestly never realized how much money it takes to go on a missions trip. It's all going to be worth it though, and God will bless us very much! The packages have been delayed a couple days because it's been such a hectic week for everybody. We still have a list of supplies we need to buy for our village, but that's not until tomorrow. Otherwise planning is going great!

First Post!

Hey everyone! So this is the blog of our missionary team! There are 8 people in our group total!

Roman Demchuk-our amazing leader!
Eddy Vorobey
Arkady Tvertinov
Vadim Demchuk
Anna Sulza
Lana Gulchuk
Lena Kirikovych
Alena Yarmakovich

We have definitely gone on our way to get ready for the missions field. This is a hectic time in our lives and we need any and all prayers! We are going to Mahirovka, Ukraine, in the Hmelnitskaya Oblast'. Some of our prayer requests are: for our village, for our financial situation within the group, for the house in the village, for God to send us good people who want to hear His word, and for every single one of us especially our leader Roman, because the pressure will be hardest on him! I will try to update this blog a couple times a week until the trip itself, and then at least once a week. If God puts it in your heart to donate, please do, and just know it's going to a good cause! Some of the things we will be doing will be childrens ministry, evangelism, good deeds, and others. Our main point coming into the village is to get to know the people and show a Christian lifestyle. This missionary point is a place no missionaries have been before and we are planning on opening a church. We don't have much more information just yet, but this monday we are sending out our FIRST packages to our missionary point. They should be getting there in about a month and a half. This is all the information we know of so far, but we will definitely keep everyone updated!

Hope for Nations
